Let The Good Times Roll!

You’ve heard of Mardi Gras, no doubt, and more and more places throughout the American West and Great Southwest are celebrating this unique and fascinating observance of food, fun and frivolity.

It was Red River, however, who really got the Grand Ball rolling in 1992 when the celebration of life first made its way to the high country. Since that first fais do-do, the party grew into a 6-day festival with great Cajun and Zydeco music playing a major role in the fun.

Hailing from Cecilia, Louisiana, Forest Huval and Bon Temps will be returning to the stages of Red River, bringing the sounds of their genuine Cajun culture to keep everybody dancing. Incidentally, the town of Cecilia is named after 2nd century Saint Cecilia who is the patroness of… musicians!
