Red River Ski Area goes tropical with Beach Weeks, its annual Spring Break celebration. Tank tops, Hawaiian shirts, hula skirts and even the occasional bikini can be seen flying down the slopes. Lots of fun with ski races, rail jams, torchlight parades and fireworks, live music, winter tubing, beach parties, and Kids’ Glow Stick Parade.
Comedy Club Round 2 will take place on March 16-17 with comedians competing for laughs and glory.
Spring Break and the season go out with a splash at the entertaining Pond Skim contest on March 25 where participants ski or ride down The Face and attempt to skim a pond at the base of the mountain. It’s open to all, but if you’d rather watch, join the crowd of spectators on the Lift House deck.
