What’s New This Summer?
• After a long and honored career in law enforcement, former Red River Deputy Marshal Jeff Jones has started a business working with leather. Jones Custom Boots & Saddles specializes in beautiful local handmade custom leather, as well as repair work. Contact him at 575-740-0565 / 806-393-5036 or at firstname.lastname@example.org .
• Located behind the Hideaway Shoppe and the Dairy Bar at the end of the driveway – look for the windmill – Rustic Mountain shop owner Debbie Folger has a “unique gift emporium” with an eclectic collection of vintage gifts: one-of-a-kind handcrafted items, home and cabin decor, fine arts, antler home accents, and a few surprises. Featured watercolor artist is Lisa Lobb who has exclusive items in Red River and in Irving TX.
• Selling a great product with quality ingredients has resulted in the need to expand. After nearly three years, Anchovies Pizzería has moved to a new location at the corner of High Street and Jack & Sixes Trail. Pizza maker Trinity West will continue to offer fresh toppings on his famous upscale dough.
• Be on the lookout around town this summer for a “busker.” Buskers are performers who ply their trade in public places and work for the approval and gratuities from appreciative audiences. Keep an eye out. There may be more than one!
