Good Things to Know About Town
Introduction
Miners' Transit Bus

If you've been here before, this stuff may be "old hat" to you. If this is your first time in our mountain paradise, the following info may come in handy:
· Red River Town Hall is located on Main Street, in the heart of town. It houses Emergency Services: Marshal's Office, Fire Department, EMTs and Search and Rescue. It also houses Town of Red River offices as well as the local Chamber of Commerce. Maps, local guides (including the Red River Miner Summer Guide) and brochures on area activities are available in the lobby next to the Chamber office door.
· Red River is a 911 town. If you need emergency assistance, dial 911 and excellent help will be rapidly heading in your direction.
· Red River is a small town. Park your car and walk or hitch a ride on the new Miner's Transit bus. It's a great way to see the sights in town and get from place to place and it is wheelchair accessible. Say "Hi!" to drivers Edgar and Yolanda.
· There are three ATM money machines in town: J. Griffin Company (the gas station/deli/store on W. Main), Centinel Bank at the corner of E. Main and Copper King Tr., and Der Markt (the grocery store). Cash machines are wonderful inventions when that one-of-a-kind gift item appears in a Red River shop window.
· Red River Radio KRDR-90.1 FM programs a wide variety of popular music and also dishes out local information on special events, the weather, and items of interest. With a new and more powerful transmitter, the signal is stronger than ever. Give it a listen.
