· Mogul Medical Clinic is located on Pioneer Road in the Red River Ski Area Lift Building at the foot of the "Face." They are a full-service clinic and have great expertise in keeping Altitude Sickness from ruining your fun.

· There are Catholic and Baptist services held weekly at St. Edwin's Catholic Church located on Silver Bell Trail. Faith Mountain Fellowship Church on E. River Street (look for the tall white steeple) also conducts worship services on a regular basis. During summer the Red River Community House holds Sunday morning services Worship in your own fashion.

· The Red River Public Library is located at the "Y" on East Main. The library has a great collection of books, including a Southwest section, and offers online capability for travelers addicted to checking E-mail. J. Griffin Company - the gas station on West Main Street - also has access, Internet cafe-style.

· Kids a wee bit antsy? Need a place to let them burn off excess energy? How about a great place to have a picnic where the family can play together? Head for Mallette Park, located two blocks from Main St. on Mallette St. Named after one of Red River's founding families, it provides facilities for disk golf, basketball, volleyball, tennis and a BMX bike area. There's also traditional playground equipment for the tiny tots. The park has a wonderful nature walk along the banks of Mallette Creek.

· In the center of town is Brandenburg Park, named after the pioneering Brandenburg family who still live in town. It has a modern playground setup and lots of grass for a comfortable setting. There's also a pavilion, which comes in handy during afternoon mountain showers. The municipal parking lot across the street has a ramp for mini-wheeled adventurers.

· Speaking of kids of all ages, the Black Mountain Playhouse, built in the 1930s, is a genuine arcade, with video games, pool tables, a skating rink and more, all designed to amuse and delight. It's located on Pioneer Road, near the Red River Ski Area Chalet.
