Red River 2006 is the place to hear the finest in American music this summer, with special appearances by contemporary acts like Cross Canadian Ragweed and Micky and the Motorcars, Gulf Coast troubadour Larry Joe Taylor and his top-notch line up of singer/songwriters like Kevin Welch, Keith Sykes and Michael Hearne, Red River expatriate Michael Martin Murphey, Texas Entertainer of the Year john Arthur martinez, the incomparable Bill Hearne, the bikers’ favorite wildman Otis Watkins, Red River’s favorite British son Philip John Brooks and..... who knows who will show up before the summer is over.

The locals are hotter than ever on cool mountain nights. Who’s in town full-time? Mike Addington and Paul Gatton (the Knotty Pines), John Amos, K. Bolin, Mandy Buchanan, Ben Butler, Creed deAvanzar, Jeff Fagan and Fritz Davis (Fagan & Fritz), Fido Clan (Willie Hopper, Jay Howell and Gary Reynolds), Rick Fowler, Steve Howard, Lori Kester, Michael David Smith and Rod Taylor & The Rifters (occasional appearances ).
