Alabama-born John Amos (photo left) is not only a fine singer/songwriter, but an excellent maker of hand-crafted guitars. A woodworker by trade, he recently moved from Dixon, NM, to Red River and has established a workshop in the Motherlode building. Professional Bull Riding returns to town this summer as M-H Rodeo Productions will be producing a 5-event Bull Riding series at Red River Stables located at “the Y.” Riders who are up-and-comers with an eye on PBR - Professional Bull Riders - events will compete for cash prizes each session, plus a $1000 cash prize for over-all series best. Each event will also see extra money for a Bounty Bull.Dates are June 17, July 1, July 22, August 5, and August 19, 6 PM starting time.
