Art is alive and well in Red River at the following locations around town:

Home Art Scene The Bars Fun Stuff Snomobiling Resources     The Red River Gallery of Fine Art, located on Pioneer Road (road to the Ski Area), is the town's longest established gallery. A wide variety of work by internationally recognized artist Kenneth Wyatt, his wife Veda, and their daughter, Jill Wyatt Marshall, is on display. This talented and dedicated family has filled the gallery with paintings, prints, sculpture, jewelry and art designed to delight the senses and uplift the soul.
    Also available this season is Behold The Man: Portraits of Jesus, a wonderful book illustrated by Kenneth's paintings, with text by renowned Biblical Archeologist Dr. Charles Page.

    Mountain Treasures (212 W. Main) is owned by Paula and Ben Richey and features the work of artists of the great Southwest. (Even Texas!) Fine paintings and prints, pottery, stained and fused glass, hand-crafted jewelry and marble sculpture adorn the two-story gallery. Browsers and art lovers can relax and enjoy a cappuccino at The Gallery Coffee Bar, which includes a deli offering tasty sandwiches, salads and fresh baked items for breakfast and lunch, as well as your picnic needs. (Yes, picnics in the snow are legal here).

    Moon River, (412 E. Main) In addition to a great variety of hand-crafted pottery (see photo on right), jewelry, candles, cards and hand-painted one-of-a-kind gift items, this established shop in the Motherlode complex proudly features work by local artists Rick Fowler, Steve Howard and Leroy Featherston.

    Bear X-ing (600 E. Main) If you like Folk Art, check out the amazing chainsaw-carved bears and other hand-crafted wooden items.

    The Jewelry Lady (506 E. Main), whose motto is "We play with jewelry," carries a huge variety of hand-crafted rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings by well-known and not-so-well known artisans. Stop by and play.

    The Knothole (321 E. Main) is carrying an expanded line of handcrafted furniture and a variety of art and handmade gift items.

    McGinnis and Sons Inc. This unique shop located in the Texas Reds building, is expanding and will offer more of those wonderful hand-made wooden trunks, decorator crates and pieces of wooden furniture, a specialty of Mr. McGinnis.

    Sacred Grounds is Red River's newest gallery/coffee house. Located in the Capo's Restaurant complex on Pioneer Road, they offer a variety of artistic styles for eclectic tastes, as well as jewelry, clothing and essential oils.
