This applies to your entire family.The Red River Ski Area supports responsible use of natural areas for recreation by recycling, using recycled materials, practicing waste reduction and replanting and reseeding trails. The Red River Ski Area provides activities for people and serves a critical need as a feeding area and habitat for animals year-round. Think globally - act locally.
Skiing at Red River Ski Area is made possible through a unique public-private partnership with the United States Forest Service which manages those portions of the federal land utilized for skiing.
Youth Ski Center
Kids have their very own lodge at Red River where parents can feel comfortable about leaving their children while they ski. The Professional staff utilizes innovative teaching and creative activities that help kids have fun, too. Children 4-5 years old participate in ski lessons and indoor activities that introduce them to equipment and skiing fundamentals. Kids ages 6-10 are grouped in personal classes according to age and ability. Don't forget the Buckaroo Child Care Center. It's Family Freedom, Red River-style.No Need To Pack A Sack Lunch
There is cafeteria-style dining at the Chalet and food and drink are available at The Tip restaurant at the top of the mountain, while the same is available at the foot of the mountain in The Lift House Bar.
