Sit Back, Relax and Ride In Style
It's big, white and red, comfortable and there's a very good chance that it stops close to wherever you are staying in town. It only costs fifty cents, so leave your car parked and enjoy being chauffeured around the town.
It's the Miner's Transit, Red River's new way to get around during the winter - there's a place onboard for skis, poles and snowboards. Let our friendly drivers deliver you safely across town or just down the street. P.S. Their colorful stories and comments come at no extra charge. It's a great way to get from your lodge to the Red River Ski Area, and it's also the perfect way to see the sights of town without having to drive around by yourself at 3 MPH.
Call 911 For Help
Got an emergency and need help fast? Pick up the phone and call 911, day or night. Police, fire, medical or search and rescue personnel will respond quickly and professionally to your needs. You can count on it.
First Class Care
Mogul Medical Clinic, located in the Lift House, at the foot of "the Face" of the Ski Area beside the Red Chair Lift, is Red River's full-service clinic, able to treat almost anything. They specialize in athletic and ski-related injuries, as well as Altitude Sickness - not an unheard of condition in Red River. PA-C Matt Prewitt and MD Quigley Peterson are on duty to help make your stay more enjoyable.
Worship In Your Own Fashion
Faith Mountain Fellowship Church (look for the tall, white steeple on east River Street) is involved in a building expansion project, but the work doesn't affected a regular schedule of worship services and community activities. First Baptist Church of Red River has a new home on the west side of town on High Cost Trail. St. Edwin's on Silver Bell Trail holds Catholic and Episcopal services.
